Makaton
We use Makaton to support communication and language development for all pupils. It encourages inclusion, builds confidence, and supports pupils with additional communication needs, while also benefiting the wider school community.
Below is the Makaton alphabet and key signs we use regularly in school. These signs help pupils and staff communicate consistently and support understanding across classrooms and shared spaces.
