Friday 17 July 2026 Graduation We gathered together to celebrate our wonderful Year 14 pupils at our annual Graduation Ceremony. It was a truly special occasion as we said goodbye to our leavers and celebrated everything they have achieved during their time at Heron Academy. The hall was beautifully decorated for the event, creating a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere, with refreshments, drinks, and delicious food for pupils, families, and staff to enjoy together.

Friday 10 July 2026 Gift to the Future by The Soutbank Centre Pupils from Heron Academy recently visited the Southbank Centre to take part in the inspiring "Poetry from Classrooms Across the UK – Imagine the Future" project.

Wednesday 20 May 2026 Exhibition at Carnegie Library Our pupils’ artwork created during Art Week, inspired by the theme “Maps of Me: My Journey.” is up at the Carnegie Library. Each piece represents a unique story — mapping experiences, places, emotions, and dreams that shape who they are. Together, the exhibition celebrates creativity, individuality, and the many paths that connect us all.

Monday 16 March 2026 Arts Week 2026 The theme for Arts Week 2026 was “Journeys,” and Heron Academy marked the occasion through a range of engaging workshops, music sessions, and a collaborative whole-school art project.
