Science Dome 

Pupils at Heron Academy enjoyed a fascinating visit from a travelling science dome, where they were taken on an immersive journey through time to explore the world of dinosaurs.

Inside the dome, pupils experienced a visual presentation that introduced them to a range of dinosaurs from different prehistoric periods. They were able to see what dinosaurs may have looked like, how they lived and how they changed over time.

The experience created a highly engaging and sensory-rich environment, capturing pupils’ attention and encouraging curiosity. The visuals and storytelling supported pupils to develop their understanding of the past in an accessible and exciting way.

This experience linked closely to pupils’ learning and provided a memorable opportunity to explore science in a unique and interactive setting.
