Parents and Guardians

Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians play a vital role in supporting both the school and their children’s learning. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school helps pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By working together, we can provide consistent support, encouragement, and high expectations that enable every child to reach their full potential. Throughout the year, we host a range of events, workshops, and information sessions to keep families informed and involved in school life. These opportunities allow us to share important updates, celebrate achievements, and provide guidance on how parents and guardians can best support learning at home.

Monthly newsletters are sent exclusively to parents and governors, so that all pupils are able to be featured. It highlights activities that have taken place during the previous month and provides important information about the upcoming month. The newsletter also includes a range of links to resources that support parents in a variety of areas.

Parent Workshop 2026

On 4th February, we hosted a parent workshop focused on supporting children through key developmental stages. The session covered important topics such as managing changes during puberty, having open conversations with your child about puberty, and helping children communicate effectively at home. These discussions were led by our expert community team, including doctors, occupational therapists (OT), and speech and language therapists (SaLT), providing parents with practical advice and guidance.

Parents Well-being Event

Our school was delighted to be invited to a self-care event hosted at Evelyn Grace. Parents enjoyed a variety of activities, including manicures, creating art using plants, and taking fun Polaroid photos. It was a truly wholesome and enjoyable event, giving our parents the opportunity to relax, connect, and celebrate self-care together.
