- Thank you for having me! It was really powerful seeing your staff and pupils today. Seeing your growth is fantastic and clearly a huge amount of work has been undertaken.
Juliet Chua CB, Department for Education’s Director General for Schools - I would like to take a moment to commend teaching assistant Dwayne for his outstanding performance at Heron Academy since my son was in year 7. His dedication and commitment have been truly impressive, especially in managing Daniel's behaviour. Dwayne's approach has been consistently positive, and he has shown great patience and understanding, making a significant difference in Daniel’s progress.
Parent of Daniel 14, a Heron Academy pupil - Maria at Heron Academy is an exceptional teacher, a brilliant mentor, she goes above and beyond for Jamie, as well as all the other students she teaches. Jamie has gone from a shy, nervous little boy to a confident and bright young man, and that is all down to Maria's determination to help Jamie succeed.
