A magical Theatre Experience

Our pupils recently took part in a very special shared experience, watching the Little Match GIRL, streamed live from Sadler's Wells - one of the UK's leading dance venues. Gathered together in a calm, supportive environment, the pupils watched the performance on a large screen, which allowed them to fully immerse themselves in the music, movement and storytelling. 

The expressive movement, rich visuals and emotional journey of the story captured their attention and prompted moments of focus, curiosity an engagement. Staff supported pupils to respond through watching, listening, gesturing and sharing the atmosphere with their peers.

This experience formed part of our commitment to providing inclusive access to arts and culture. By bringing world-class performances into school, we enable all pupils to take part in meaningful creative experiences that inspire imagination and enjoyment.
