Graduation

We gathered together to celebrate our wonderful Year 14 pupils at our annual Graduation Ceremony. It was a truly special occasion as we said goodbye to our leavers and celebrated everything they have achieved during their time at Heron Academy. The hall was beautifully decorated for the event, creating a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere, with refreshments, drinks, and delicious food for pupils, families, and staff to enjoy together.

The ceremony was filled with proud and emotional moments. Each of our leavers was recognised individually, with their achievements, personal successes, and memorable moments being read aloud. Their teachers shared heartfelt speeches, reflecting on the incredible progress each pupil has made and the positive impact they have had on our school community. 

Although it was sad to say goodbye, the overwhelming feeling throughout the afternoon was one of pride. Watching our pupils reach this important milestone and prepare for the next stage of their journey is a wonderful achievement for everyone involved. In September, they will begin exciting new chapters at college, taking with them the skills, friendships, and experiences they have gained during their time at Heron Academy.

We are incredibly proud of every one of our Year 14 leavers and all they have accomplished. We thank them for the joy they have brought to our school and wish them every success and happiness for the future. We know they will continue to achieve great things, and they will always remain a valued part of the Heron Academy family. Good luck to you all!
