Whole School Cinema Trip
Our annual whole-school cinema trip was a fantastic occasion enjoyed by pupils and staff alike. This year's visit was especially memorable as it celebrated our wonderful Ofsted outcome, a significant achievement for the whole school community. It was a lovely opportunity for everyone to come together and recognise all the hard work, dedication, and success that had led to this special milestone. The celebration was made even more exciting by seeing our achievement displayed on the large outdoor board, giving everyone an extra sense of pride.
The whole school traveled to the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton, where we watched Toy Story 5. The film explored the theme of technology versus traditional toys, encouraging pupils to think about the balance between modern technology and imaginative play—a topic that feels particularly relevant in today's world.
To make the experience even more enjoyable, every pupil was able to choose their own refreshments before the film began. They selected either sweet, salted, or mixed popcorn, along with a choice of orange or apple juice. There was great excitement as everyone settled into their seats, ready to enjoy the film together.
It was wonderful to see the whole school sharing the experience, creating a real sense of community and togetherness.
The annual cinema trip was a fitting way to celebrate such a successful year for our school. It was a joyful day that everyone thoroughly enjoyed, and one that created many happy memories for pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
