Literacy Week 2026

Last week was Literacy week at Heron Academy. Literacy Week this year was full of sensory stories, book shop trips and celebrating world book day. 

We decorated our doors based on our favourite books.

Our pupils visited Waterstones for a story and to buy a book. 

Classes had a visitor read them a sensory story about a pirate.
