Lambeth's New SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy 2025 - 2030

Lambeth's New SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy 2025 - 2030

We are proud to announce that our school was invited to participate in the promotional video for Lambeth’s new SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy 2025–2030. This initiative is a landmark commitment to ensuring that every child and young person in Lambeth—regardless of need or circumstance—receives inclusive, high-quality support across education, health, and social care.

The strategy was co-designed with young people and puts their voices and lived experiences at the heart of change. Its goal is clear: to ensure that all children and young people, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), are empowered to thrive and reach their full potential from birth to adulthood.

Our involvement in the video is a reflection of our school’s ongoing dedication to inclusive education and our belief in the power of early support, meaningful collaboration, and smooth transitions. It also recognizes the efforts of our staff, pupils, and families who contribute every day to making our school a place where every child feels valued and supported.

The strategy focuses on seven key priorities, all shaped with the input of Lambeth’s young people:
  1. Inclusive and sustainable provision – Ensuring all learners can access quality support in the right setting.
  2. Effective partnership working – Strengthening collaboration between schools, health services, and care providers.
  3. Smooth transitions with early preparation – Making key life transitions easier and more successful for children and families.
  4. Earlier preparation for adulthood – Helping young people gain skills, confidence, and opportunities for adult life.
  5. Developing our workforce across the partnership – Equipping educators and professionals with the knowledge and tools to deliver outstanding care.
  6. Amplifying the voice of children, young people and families – Embedding their experiences and perspectives in everything we do.
  7. Timely re-integration to mainstream for those in alternative provision – Supporting pupils to return to mainstream settings with confidence and the right support.
We are excited to be part of this movement for change and honoured to have showcased our school community in the promotional film. The video is an inspiring look at the future of inclusive education in Lambeth—and we encourage everyone to watch and share it.

Together, we’re building a borough where every child is seen, heard, and supported to succeed.
