Peter Pan at the Greenwich Theatre
Last week, our KS3 pupils, had the wonderful opportunity to attend a pantomime performance of Peter Pan in Greenwich. The trip was full of laughter, adventure, and plenty of interactive moments, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone.
Our pupil survey data indicates that 94% of pupils who attended enjoyed the experience, which means one pupil didn’t, but the vast majority had a fantastic time. Pupils shared their thoughts on the show: “The panto was nice,” while another commented, “I liked the panto because it was fun." "I liked when the pirate turned into a baby." "Panto is like the cinema with real people.”
The performance brought the classic story to life, with colourful characters, pirates, fairies, and plenty of humorous twists. The interactive and sensory-friendly elements of the show helped pupils engage and enjoy the performance in a safe and inclusive environment.
Trips like this give pupils the chance to experience live theatre, develop social skills, and enjoy stories in a way that is accessible and exciting for everyone. The visit to the Peter Pan pantomime in Greenwich was a magical day that will be remembered by all.
