Lambeth and Croydon Foodbank

As part of work experience a group of our pupils have been helping transport food donations to the local Foodbank as part of their Harvest Festival.

Each week, they have been supporting the Foodbank by delivering goods collected at school. This ongoing effort ensures that donations reach local families in need, especially during busy times like Harvest.

We were delighted to receive a thank you certificate from the Foodbank in recognition of our recent contribution. In their message, they wrote:

“Please find attached our thank you certificate for your kind donation of food to our Foodbank for Harvest Festival. We really appreciate all your support. Have a great half term.”

The school is proud of the pupils’ continued commitment to helping others. Their weekly deliveries not only provide practical support to the Foodbank but also teach valuable lessons about empathy, service, and the importance of giving back to the community.
