Trust Team of the Year

London South East Academies Trust was named Trust Team of the Year (9 schools or fewer) at the prestigious Tes Schools Awards 2024. The award recognised the trust’s outstanding work in transforming some of the most challenging alternative provision and special schools, placing a strong emphasis on meeting the individual needs of every pupil. Judges praised the trust for its commitment to improving life chances, supporting families and communities, and delivering exceptional outcomes for young people. Notably, all Key Stage 4 leavers across the trust progressed into sixth form, college or apprenticeships in 2024. Sir Steve Lancashire, one of the awards judges, highlighted the trust’s ability to “change lives and renew hope”, recognising both its educational impact and its wider contribution to the communities it serves.
